ICIS convenes conferences and workshops that introduce new concepts and ideas while linking infrastructure professionals with each other as well as with users and researchers.

ICIS communicates new thinking and approaches to infrastructure that are systems oriented and integrate multiple perspectives and interests.

ICIS educates by promoting educational initiatives and programs that bridge the diverse disciplines needed to deal with contemporary infrastructure issues and challenges.

ICIS research activities span numerous disciplines to discover new insights and interdisciplinary approaches to planning, building, and managing the complex world of civil infrastructure systems.

The information exchange provides a forum for all infrastructure stakeholders to disseminate the latest innovations in the field, new research findings, and provides opportunities for involvement, collaboration and learning.
