Massiel Medina

Former Project Manager, ICIS

Massiel Medina, former Project Manager from 2001 to 2002, received a Master of Urban Planning degree from NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School for Public Service in the Spring of 2001. While pursuing her Masters she worked for Prudential Financial as a project leader and systems analyst. During her time with Prudential Financial she worked in various departments gaining five years of vital experience in financial reporting, quality assurance and business systems management. She also participated in Wagner’s Capstone Downtown Yonkers’ project administered by the planning firm Buckhurst Fish & Jacquemart. As part of a 12-person team of planning students, she conducted infrastructure studies and assisted in preparing a Comprehensive Development Plan for the City of Yonkers which focused on the revitalization of downtown Yonkers. After graduation, she accepted a position with the New York City Housing Authority and worked as a lead business analyst in their Records and Business Systems Management department. She holds B.S. degrees in Economics and Sociology from Boston College.
