James Moore

Associate Professor, University of Southern California

James Elliot Moore II is Co-Director of the Construction Management Program and Professor in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Industrial and Systems Engineering, and in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development at the University of Southern California. He is Associate Director of the National Center for Metropolitan Transportation Research (METRANS) and Director of the Transportation Engineering Program in the Department of Civil Engineering. Professor Moore's research covers mathematical programming and connectionist models to study transportation network performance and control; computationally efficient models of the land use-transport system; market-based urban planning interventions; and optimal infrastructure pricing policies. Education: B.S., Northwestern University, Industrial Engineering; M.S., Stanford University, Industrial Engineering; M.U.R.P., Northwestern University; Ph.D., Stanford University, Program in Infrastructure Planning and Management, Civil Engineering.
