Linda Nozick

Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Cornell University

Linda K. Nozick is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University. She is currently the Associate Director for the Center for Manufacturing Enterprise at Cornell as well as the Program in Systems Engineering. Her research interests are in systems engineering, and more specifically, in the development of mathematical models and decision support systems for use in the management of complex systems. She has worked with a variety of different systems including freight and urban transportation, and manufacturing. Dr. Nozick was a 1997 recipient of a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers from the Office of the President of the United States and the National Science Foundation. Education: B.S. in Systems Analysis and Engineering from George Washington University (1989) and Master and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Systems Engineering in 1990 and 1992 respectively.
