Sang-Soo Jeon

Sang-Soo Jeon worked for Hyundai Construction and Engineering Co., Ltd. until 1994. Dr. Jeon worked on problems involving in situ lining systems using fiber-reinforced polymers for pipeline rehabilitation during his doctorate at Cornell University. Later he focused on GIS-based analysis and visualization of infrastructure damage, with emphasis on earthquake-induced damage of water supply pipelines and residential buildings. He is currently the Chief Researcher of the Geotechnical Research Division of the Korea Highway Corporation. Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering, Sugkyunkwan University, South Korea, 1989, M.S., University at Boulder, CO, 1996 and Ph.D., Cornell University, 2002.
